Option Consommateurs filed a Motion for authorization to institute a class action on behalf of any person who has purchased, in Quebec, polyester polyols and/or one or more products manufactured with it and who has paid an inflated price as a result of an agreement aimed at fixing the price. The motion alleges, among other things, that certain manufacturers of this product conspired to unduly limit the competition and unreasonably raise its price.
This class action is led by Belleau Lapointe, LLP
